Come and Play the 2030 SDGs Game In-Person
The 2030 SDGs Game is an interactive, card-based simulation that brings the world of sustainable development to life. Through collaboration, decision-making, and real-world trade-offs, participants experience how individual and collective choices can shape the future. Whether you are new to the SDGs or already engaged in sustainability work, this eye-opening session offers a fun and practical way to explore global challenges, strengthen strategic thinking, and reflect on the role we each play in building a more sustainable world.
In the School of Business and Media, the SDG game has been used with students to support learning about strategy, communication, stakeholder engagement, and social purpose. It could be used in other Schools by connecting the gameplay to each discipline’s real-world decisions and challenges.
At this session, facilitator Mary Ho will introduce the game, explain the rules and you will play the game.
We will also have other Sustainability themed games on display and available to borrow from the Library.
Mary Ho, Ph.D., is a faculty member at BCIT School of Business + Media, teaching strategic management and sustainability. She specializes in impact measurement and stakeholder engagement, and provide consulting services to organizations and research institutions, translating strategy into measurable outcomes through evidence-based assessment, ESG/CSR strategy, and academic impact support.
