Understanding Unconscious Bias

Understanding Unconscious Bias In-Person

To honour Indigenous History Month, BCIT Library is hosting a casual tea & bannock after the presentation.

Join Tanya from the Respect, Diversity, and Inclusion office to learn about unconscious bias. The presentation will cover what unconscious bias is, how it is formed, some different types of unconscious biases, and how it can lead to unfair and discriminatory decision making. Most importantly learn some techniques to mitigate its negative impact. If you are unable to attend, feel free to join us at anytime for some tea and bannock. The online module is also available in the employee learning hub.
