3D Printing with Mimi In-Person
Learn the fundamentals of 3d printing and 3d design by customizing your own 3d printed whistle. Participants will be also be introduced to the basic process of turning a 3d model into a physical object with the help of a 3d printer. We will be learning web browser based 3d design tool TinkerCAD and the free software Cura. At the end of the session, every one will take home a fully functional 3d printed whistle.
Mimi has more than 8 years of experience with 3d printing and has been heavily involved with the local maker community. She is also familiar with the latest creative technology and new media practices.
